Canada Switches to Plastic Banknotes

The sub-studio design blog has images of Canada's new plastic banknotes, which will soon be introduced in order to replace traditional ones made out of paper.

At the cutting edge of currency and security, The Bank of Canada recently unveiled the new designs for the $100 and $50 bank notes. I?m kinda interested in what the polymer feels like and how the clear window will age over time. Does it make noise when you crinkle it? Will it give you nasty paper cuts? What will Canadian billionaires light their cigars with?
