Toronto-based graphic designer Beth Chapleau has put together theultimate Canadian Winter Survival Kit, which comes complete witheverything a Canadian could need during our frosty, winter nights. AsBeth explains:

The kit contains a pair of wool socks, a lift ticket, acondom, 3 bottles of beer, 3 bottles of Screech and an instruction card. The instruction card was designed to accommodate the lift ticket, whichslips into a sleeve to hold it in place, and the "convelope" whichhouses the condom is affixed to the front of the sleeve. This card thenslides into the box.

Each label features a hand drawn illustration that changes based onthe item. A lumberjack for the socks, deer antlers for the condom, asnowflake for the lift ticket, a maple leaf for the beer bottles and acod fish for the screech bottles. A red and black plaid pattern wasused throughout the project to tie the separate items together and serveas a reminder of Canadiana.

Be sure to check the restof her site for some of her other brilliant work. Beth herself granted me permission to use the above image.
