Vimeo's staff pick brings to attention this beautifully shot yet terrifying to look at video, featuring Canadian freerider Brendan Howey riding his bike on a tortuous path down a hill. He doe so effortlessly, I'd probably be peeling my face from a tree at the first bend.

It’s always a hoot to watch someone effortlessly do something that you’d very quickly die trying to accomplish. Canadian freerider Brendan Howey shows us how to rip down a mountain in this riveting Red Bull piece from cinematographer Rupert Walker. The title of “RAW100” refers to its edit — just 100 seconds of action with zero special effects. Brendan’s impressive skills are portrayed in as natural a state as possible, using raw sound and no music or slow motion — just the raw dirt of British Columbia, a pair of rubber wheels, and death-defying stunts.
