Created for General Electric for SXSW 2013, the Barista Bot draws the customer's face in their waiting cappuccino.
We wanted to bring something light-hearted and unexpected to the SXSW experience. We tried to imagine how we could take a common experience and make it interactive and fun. The result is a robot that uses real time data analysis to take a picture a person ordering coffee, analyze their facial characteristics, and draw their face on the cup of coffee. Voila, the Barista Bot.
