Christopher Michel's U-2 Photos From the Edge of Space

Photographer Christopher Michel has this fabulous gallery of images taken at the edge of space while flying on a U-2 Spy Plane.

Introduced in 1957, the Lockheed U-2 Spy Plane could fly as high as 21,000 metres (70,000 feet) and was used for all-weather day and night intelligence gathering. It's no wonder their motto was "In God We Trust, All Others We Monitor".
