Romanian Law: Witches That Fail at Truthful Predictions Go to Jail

The Romanian government wants to pass legislation forcing witches to get a permit. Most importantly, if they fail at making truthful predictions they would get fined -- or worse -- go to jail. And while jail is still better than being burnt on a fire, I think many of these so called witches will hang their hats and call it quits.

Such a law may sound strange, but witches have been part of Romanian history and culture for centuries. They have such an abundance of witches, in fact, that on January 1st, government passed a labour law that recognized witchcraft as an actual profession -- basically, witches would now have to pay taxes. The witches, meanwhile, are not at all amused.
