According to this article on NBC News, the Pew Research Centre's latest poll has determined that half of the American population has no idea what's going on in Egypt.
About half of Americans -- 52 percent -- report having heard little or nothing about the demonstrations, according to the poll of 1,385 adults, which was conducted Wednesday through Monday.
