TorrentFreak reports that Google has given up and caved to the pressure of the entertaining industries, like the MPAA and RIAA. Starting today, if you search for terms such as BitTorrent, torrent, utorrent, RapidShare and Megaupload from its instant and auto-complete services, the results will be censored.
But as JD Rucker reports in this article on TECHi, while something as harmless as searching for a torrent file is considered bad enough to be censored from Google, you can still search for topics such as "how to kidnap a child", "how to make mustard gas" or "how to build a bomb" and get results. Oh, hypocrisy. What would we do without you?
