According to Lesley Ciarula Taylor from the Toronto Star, a recording of the actual 1939 speech by King George VI that provides the climax of the hit movie The King's Speech, has gone viral.

Lesley points out, and as will you hear, the speech isn't quite as perfect as Colin Firth's version. In fact, King George VI speaks haltingly with an unusual cadence and emphasis.
