The New Commodore C-64

Okay, this is what I should have asked for Christmas. Gord McLeod of GeekBeat.TV fame is reporting on a brand spanking new Commodore 64 that's in the works. It packs an Intel Dual Core 525 Atom processor, 2GB of RAM (upgradeable to 4), and an Nvidia Ion 2 graphics chipset.

On the side you will find mouse and keyboard, HDMI, VGA, DVI, 4 USB ports, Ethernet and 3 audio ports, plus support for other upgrades. It can handle Windows, Amiga Workbench or... you can head straight into a C64 emulator from boot. If the keyboard makes that old school clikkety-click-click noise, I'm sold.
