Once we understand how technology works, it ceases to be magical and, instead, transmutes into the common, the everyday, that everyone knows knowledge. Here's an example of that: Claire O'Neill and Mito Habe-Evans, from National Public Radio, have taken the concept of a pinhole camera and instead of carving their usual Jack-O-Lantern this year, they carved a working camera oscura out of a pumpkin.
