Thanks to Toyota's tremendous incentives, sales are now better than anticipated as customers are willing to look the other way thanks to the "tantalizing" deals. Cognitive psychiatrist Walter E. Jacobson, who finds this shortsighted and foolish, asks: what good is it if you don't have to pay any interest for three years, but you're gong to be dead in six months because the accelerator pedal still sticks?
