Ethan Zuckerman, a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard, posted that references to Mr. Jackson accounted for a full 15 per cent of tweets--more than three times the 140-character attention span commanded by the Iranian election or the swine flu pandemic.
