Talk about bad luck. Same house, two different cars crash into it.
They say lightning doesn't strike twice, but for the second time this month a car has crashed into the same Etobicoke home.
Around 1am Saturday, a car barrelled over a curb and crashed through the bedroom window of a house at 42 Kingslea Drive South near Royal York Road and Bloor Street West.
S. Sgt. William Hurley of 22 Division described what happened.
"The vehicle landed on the occupants' bed. Luckily, no one was at home at the time. Alcohol was definitely a factor. The driver was arrested, charged with impaired driving."
The house has sat empty with the window boarded up since February 2nd, when an older driver lost control and ended up in the middle of the living room.
