Googling your Energy Meter

Google, famous already for being one of the world's most popular search engines, is moving into managing power consumption information for individuals. With their currently under development tool called "PowerMeter" combined with power utilities and smart energy devices, users will be able to monitor their home energy consumption. The goal is to potentially stimulate consumers to be aware of their power usage and to work towards reducing global warming.
