The Pneumatic Hybrid Engine

Lino Guzzella, a Thermotronics professor, has developed the pneumatic hybrid engine, which uses compressed air rather than electricity, to power vehicles. The engine's reduced production cost may mean a more affordable hybrid vehicle for the masses.
