Casio has announced the release of the EXILIM, a digital camera that has a working detachable lens that can communicate with the controller unit using Bluetooth. The camera comes preloaded with software similar to Google's Autoawesome.

Both the camera unit and controller body feature a splash-proof and dustproof construction, and can withstand dropping from a height of up to 2.0 meters.
