My favourite artist, Randy Regier, who we featured back in July of 2011 with his Nu Penny Toy Store, has released these set of images for his first prototype of a sadness dispelling machine. As typical of his beautiful toys, this one screams 1950 sci-fi film with its retro lines and polished good looks.
In an experiment to dispel sadness I built a machine just for that purpose. This is the first of a series of experimental machines for this purpose, thus the X-1. So far, I am pleased to report that it is working.
