As you may have heard, Facebook bought the Oculus Rift for $2 billion dollars. What is the Oculus Rift, you ask? Time magazine has this article that explains the history behind the device. Not everyone is happy of this purchase however: stock went down and Markus Persson, the guy that made Minecraft, cancelled his plans to work his game with the device, calling Facebook "creepy". So, what can you do with an Oculus Rift, then? Well, not much yet: play a few games and, now, surf Facebook with it.
