Euronews reports that in the city of Shanghai, China, two self-driving street sweepers — complete with all the bells and whistles you would expect from one such vehicle — have been put to work, completing their tasks in just 20 minutes. It would appear that their advantage versus an autonomous passenger car is their limited speed of travel.

A pair of driverless street sweepers have been put into operation in an industrial park in Shanghai.
