Developed by California-based Incident Technologies, the gTar is an iPhone-powered electric guitar designed so that anyone can play it, regardless of their musical skill. Plug the iPhone into the special dock, pick the song you want to play and LEDs on the fretboard will show you where to put your fingers. Check out their product page on Kickstarter.
With an illuminated fretboard that shows you where to put your fingers, the gTar lets you start playing songs you already know. Since the gTar is powered by your phone, it can sound like anything you want, from a warm acoustic guitar to an agressive distorted bass or synth.
