England Testing Holographic Employees

With England giving us Red Dwarf, a comedy show that featured Arnold Rimmer, a holographic version of his now dead self, it should come to no surprise that British airports are testing out holographic employees.
The holograms of a woman and man, cleverly named Holly and Graham -- I wonder which brilliant marketing genius came up with that -- tell passengers how to prepare for the flight before entering the airport security area. Calling them holograms may be somewhat deceiving since, as this article in the Toronto Star explains, the image is beamed by a projection kit against a "glass mirror" that is shaped like a person. Unlike what we're used in Star Trek, you can't run your hand through them.
The BBC has a video here showing the device in action. Hard to believe people confuse these for real people.
