How's this for a pretty amazing mix-mash of eras and fiction? Raving Toy Maniac has taken Star Wars characters, mashed them with a World War II theme, and came up with this pretty cool looking concept: Star Wars 1942.
My favourite figurine is the one of Darth Vader: he looks like the perfect art-deco villain. Check it out here.
