Smithsonian.com has this fascinating article about Adam Reed Tucker, originally an architect for 15 years, but now one of the 11 Lego-certified professionals in the world. He currently designs and builds model of famous buildings entirely out of Legos.

His models, including the World Trade Center, the Gateway Arch, Fallingwater and others, are on display in the National Building Museum until September 5, 2011, in the exhibit, LEGO Architecture: Towering Ambition in Washington, D.C.
