Steve Slater's glorious exit from his job is not a one-of-a-kind event, but a reflection on the daily bullshit the masses shovel at their place of employment: in 1947, Mr. Cimillo, 38, a Bronx bus driver fed up with the daily annoyances and nonsense of it all climbed behind the wheel of his bus one morning and took a 1,300-mile detour.
