ReadWriteWeb reports on a study from Northwestern University, which has shown that the so called "digital natives" -- a demographic group born into a world where personal computers were not a revolution, but merely existed alongside air conditioning, microwaves and other appliances -- are anything but web savvy.
The researchers discovered that this group has a decided lack of Web savvy, especially when it comes to search engines and the ability to determine the credibility of search results -- valuing instead a search engine's ranking of a site above all other factors, including legitimacy.
