A Tomy Blip was a handheld "digital" game from 1977, a device which had very little at to do with our concept of digital and, instead, proved to be a piece of fine and elaborate engineering. In this article, Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories take the Blip for a test drive, before taking it apart to see what makes it tick.
